He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo J. Helms and Lucille C. Helms. He is survived by: his siblings, Leo, Jerrald (Leo) and Janet Wilkinson; his nephew Christopher (Betsie); and his nieces, Cathy (Rashmi), Lori (Paul), Christine (Tim) and Susan (Steve). He is also survived by several cousins, great-nephews, and great-nieces.
