It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dena Lynn Whiting of Thompsonville, Michigan, who passed away on January 9, 2023, at the age of 41, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Lyle, Laura Stone, Howard and Mildred Smith; her niece Emma Smith; and her pets, Daizy, Pugsley and Luna.
She is survived by: her husband James; her children, Waylon and Wren; her parents, Dennis Smith and Lynn Smith (Stone); her siblings, Matthew Smith of Thompsonville, Ryan Smith (Tamra) of Thompsonville and Kendra McIntyre of Lake Ann; and her nieces and nephews, Tyler, Orrin Smith of Traverse City, Payton Smith of McBain and Briana Ross of Thompsonville. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
