He is survived by: his children, Denise Ancel of Houghton Lake and Bill Black of Copemish; his grandchildren, David Ancel, Ricky Ancel, Kevin Reffitt, Kyle Reffitt, Kole Reffitt and Keina Adams (Avery); his stepchildren, Pamela Lambert (Craig) of Dexter and Rod Meister of Thompsonville; and his stepgrandchildren, Tracy Hilobuk (Jeremy), Kevin Lambert (Tracy), Christopher Vandercook, Kristy Wyllys (Todd) and Kortny Mireles (Jaime). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
