She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard LaPoint and Altha LaPoint (Babcock); and her brother Phillip LaPoint. She is survived by: her children, Cathrine Buhinicek, Kimberly Kelly (Patrick), Laurie Sepolvado and James Norton (Suzanne Theiss); and her brothers, Michael and David LaPoint. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
