He was predeceased by : his parents, Stephen J. Lane and Genevieve T. Lane (Politowski); his wife Barbara A. Lane (Keane); and his son Stephen, Jr. (Steve). He is survived by : his grandchildren, Chelsea (Velich), Lindsey Vander (Velich) and Patience Lane (Sean); his great grandchildren, Leighton, Brooklyn, Gabriel Vander Vlucht, Ayvah, Blayke Lewis and Audrey Vander Vlucht; his girlfriend Mona Swayze; his sister Patricia (Lane) LaBeau (Don); and his nephew Adam LaBeau (Wendy). He is also survived by his daughter and son in law, granddaughters, great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Urbanski's Bedford Funeral Chapel (8300 Lewis Ave, Temperance, MI 48182). A Mass was held on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church (8330 Lewis Ave, Temperance, MI 48182). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church (8330 Lewis Ave, Temperance, MI 48182).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
