It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sandra Lee Baker of Temperance, Michigan, who passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Norman Harris and Doris Harris (Ehman); her husband William F. Baker; her son David H. Large; her sister Gail Harris; her children, Tracy Cappelletty, Lori Shackelford (Richard) and Jeffery Large (Robbin); her stepchildren, Vince Baker (Susan), Brady Baker (Becky) and Zach Baker (Alphrena); her brothers, Norman Harris (Bud) and Daniel Harris (Sharon); and her grandchildren, Justin Paulun, Cory Paulun, Dakota Shackelford, Mckennia Osborne (Joe), Zackary Large, Daniel Baker (Elisha), Elizabeth Baker, Nicole Meyer and Kayla Bennington (Brent). She was also cherished by 8 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, extended family.

“I just learned last night that Sandy had passed on. I worked with Sandy at the University of Toledo at Scott Park . Her office was next to mine on the second floor in the library. I was working on my masters and did my masters project for TOPS program for which she was the director . I designed a website page for her program and became close with her. We visited her in the UP had a wonderful visit. She was a good storyteller and writer. She was a warm kind person. Colette Cordova, Toledo”
