He was predeceased by: his parents, Casimiro Madrid and Pauline Madrid (Torres); his wife Emily Holeman; his son Howard; his granddaughter Denise; and his siblings, Ascension Cruz, Mary L. Valdez, Anthony, Raymond, James, David, Paul and Henry Martinez.
He is survived by: his children, LuAnn Vore (Darrel), Mark Madrid (Jamie), Mario Madrid (Tracy) and Wayne Meeks (Sue); his sister Lydia Guzman (Phillip); his grandchildren, Melissa, Troy, Paige, Darrel, Jr., Tonya, Lisa, Jerry, Toni, Bobby Joe, Felicia and Chyna; his great grandchildren, Jasmine, Jessie, Troy, Jr., Karter, Samantha, Amber, Kaitlyn, Joshua, Sierra, Zack, Nick, Chloe and Marcus; and his great great grandchild Amari.
