He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph E. Thompson and Ruth E. Thompson (Cooley); his wife Marta E. Shepherd; his son David Thompson (Jessica); his grandchildren, Elizabeth and William Thompson; his daughter-in-law Martha Thompson; his siblings, Bonnie Jo Thompson and Stephen Thompson (Bonnie Ann); his sister-in-law Margaret Shepherd; his niece Sara Thompson; his son Douglas Thompson; and his niece Emily Thompson.
Visitation with COVID-19 guidelines will be from 4-7 pm, Thursday, February 25, 2021, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm. Interment will be private.
Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan.
