With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Patrick Wernert of Temperance, Michigan, born in Riga, Michigan, who passed away on June 21, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Wernert and Mary Wernert (Wilkinson); his grandson James Wernert; his great grandchild Jeremiah Griffis; and his siblings, Leon Wernert, Eugene Wernert, Phil Wernert, Rita Trabbic and Marilyn Slee.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Ruth Richardson; his children, Sheri Lyczkowski (Jeff), Mike Wernert (Cindy), Gayle Grove, Connie Butler (Larry) and Scott Wernert (Lisa); his grandchildren, Melissa Brown (Brad Helm), Valarie Griffis (Jeff), Steve Lyczkowski (Katelyn), David Wernert (Pam), Sam Wernert, Andy Grove (Kim), Chad Butler, Andrea Stubleski (Don), Matthew Butler (Joyce), Steve Ragan, Meghan Wernert and Robert Wernert (Christy); and his sisters, Dorothy Sulier, Janet Perry and Sharon Kinder. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Monroe Humane Society and Elara Caring Hospice.
