He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Reau and Eldenia Reau (Bushroe); his wife Carol A. Phelan; his son Dennis Michael Reau; his granddaughter Katie Carrabino; and his great grandchild Brandon Michael Reau.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Beauman (Kevin) of Temperance, Glenn Reau (Rene) of Temperance, Gregg Reau (Brenda) of Monroe, Richard Reau (Jennifer) of Monroe, Lindsay Reau (Tammy) of Katy, TX, Heidi Snarey (Thomas) of Oakwood, GA and Cory Reau (Dana) of Monroe; and his grandchildren, Sarah Richmond, Noah Beauman, Amber Hotary, Kyle Reau, Gabby Reau, Eric Reau, Ashley Wszelaki, Sydney Reau, Courtney Holcombe, Camden Reau, Cassidy Reau, Stephen Reau, Ryan Reau, Kasey Moore, Anna Snarey, Sean Snarey and Zachary Kolberg. He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren.
