He was predeceased by: his parents, Claudis C. Hauser and Wilma T. Hauser (Conn); his wife Sharon J. Shaffer; and his sister Rowena E. Damron. He is survived by: his friends, John and Fran McDowell; his close friend Eileen Winkler; his children, Allen C. (Vicki), Bonnie S. and Cyndi R. Hauser (Kurt); his siblings, Delores "Tinker" Snarr (Jack), Lawrence Hauser (Kim), Lois "Francie" Evans (Gene) and Sheila Kay Hauser; and his grandchildren, Cassie Hogan (Alexa), Molly, Becky, Sean Herroon, Josh and Justin Hauser.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations can be made to Stemple Ridge Cemetery, 5315 Stemple Ridge Rd. Aurora, WV 26705, Aurora Historical Society, PO box 100, Aurora WV 26705 or The Northwest Ohio Blacksmiths 6647 Hill Ave. Toledo, OH 43615.

“Ralph was one of the good guys that I have met in my life . Somethings that stick out in my mind. Ralph , after becoming a member of Northwest Ohio Blacksmiths , became an ambassador for the club and made many excursions to other blacksmith clubs , When my wife Sue died , Ralph and his daughter Cyndi were at Carr Park in Temperance Michigan and helped with setup through cleanup and everything in between for the luncheon . I am teary eyed as I type this and I do not tear easily . He will missed.”
