She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Thornton and Ida Thornton (DiCarlo); her grandson Tevin Ney-Wilkerson; and her brother Jim Thornton. She is survived by: her husband Robert Ney; her children, Jennifer Barth (Michael), Jamie Ney (Kim), Jeanette Hernandez (Anthony) and Joanie Ney; her grandchildren, Ganessa Ney, Dylan Barth, Victoria Barth, Caleb Ney, Gavin Ney, Aiden Ney, Bryce Ritenour, Isabella Hernandez and Clark Hernandez; her great grandchildren, Kyler Ney and Everett Lavell Ferguson; and her siblings, Mary Lou Dalton and Pat Kohn.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Paula's honor to The Thrift Shop in Monroe.
