He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Hoy Sr. (Carr) and Paul Hoy Sr.; his stepfather Will Langley; and his siblings, Caroll Komisarek and Hobart Hoy.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Ann Potrzebowski; his children, Michael Hoy (Deb) and Cheryl Hoy (Joseph Castiglione); his grandchildren, Heather Hoy, Matthew Bunker and Justin Bunker (Anna); his great grandchildren, Allison and Elizabeth; and his sister Nancy Davis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
