She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lawrence Jennings and Norma Jennings (Coombs); her husband James Lajiness; her children, Michael Lajiness (Michelle), Michelle "Shelly" Lajiness and Steven Lajiness (Kim); and her sisters, Patricia Brighton (Richard), Lois Rendle and Phyllis Burkey. She was also cherished by 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
