She was predeceased by: her grandmother Stella Ostrowski; and her stepfather Bill Hintz. She is survived by: her parents, Frederick Henry Ostrowski (Sharon) and Frances Ann Ostrowski Hintz (Frey); her husband Shawn M. Trimmer of Temperance; her children, Braden Trimmer (Cassidy Wolf) of Temperance and Ashlen Trimmer (Devin Johnson) of Temperance; her brothers, Anthony "Tony" Ostrowski (Julie) of Toledo and Glenn Smith (Toni) of Temperance; her stepsister Kim Heninger of Toledo; her mother-in-law Cindy Tillman; her siblings-in-law, Gary Trimmer and Nichole Tillman; her close friend Cleo; and her pet Doodle. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Trimmer Family to assist with Nikki's final expenses.
