He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bernard Briskey and Beatrice Briskey (Kregulka); his wife Roslyn; his stepchildren, Jason Krieg (Traci), Lori Ann McCloud (David) and Matthew Jessmon (Andrea); his grandchildren, Thomas Jessmon, Brandon McCloud, Bryce McCloud, Ava Jessmon, Addison Jessmon, Brody McCloud, Jacob Krieg and Riley Krieg; and his siblings, Bernice Stykemain and David Briskey (Diane). He was also cherished by his wife, children and grandchildren.
