She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Kessler and Grace Kessler (Morrette); her husband Norman R. VanDyke; her daughter Debi Shaffer; and her sister Joanne Garverick.
She is survived by: her children, James Van Dyke (Bridget), Michelle Braden (Eric) and Sam Van Dyke (Beth); and her son-in-law Terry Shaffer. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
