She was predeceased by : her husband Melvin VanWormer; and her sisters, Katherine Sarno and Josephine Knisley. She is survived by : her children, James Melvin, William Maurice VanWormer (Julie), Marie Lea Webster (Glenn) and Mary Angela Ibe (David). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home (1640 Smith Rd, Temperance, MI 48182). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
