She was predeceased by: her parents, John Grycza and Martha Grycza (Janowiecki); and her husband David Mierzwiak. She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Manrow (John), David Mierzwiak (Kathleen), Gary Mierzwiak (Sandy) and Mary Jo Bushroe (Doug); and her brother John Grycza (Camille). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
