In the sacred silence of farewell, Lois Jean is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Lois Jean's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Steinke and Miriam Steinke; her brother Robert Steinke; and her godson Mark Rackow (Cheryl). She is survived by: her daughter Christi Marino; her sister Carole Rackow (David); and her siblings-in-law, Joan Steinke and Anthony Marino (Danielle). She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews, many other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Quimby's Restaurant & Bar (3536 W Sterns Rd, Lambertville, MI 48144). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Library of Michigan Foundation which offers financial support to the Braille and Talking Book Library program.
