He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Appleman and Leila Appleman (Messersmith); his wife Norma Mae Billau; and his children, Larry Appleman and LuAnn Appleman.
He is survived by: his children, Dottie Appleman (Robert Henderson), Jean Louwers (Jeff), Dale Appleman and Connie Kennedy; his daughter-in-law Pam Appleman; and his brother Kenneth Appleman. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
