He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Pasternak and Bertha Pasternak (Juhasz); and his brothers, Andrew, Michael (Mickey) and Ernest.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne; his sons, Michael Pasternak (Jeanne), Steven Pasternak (Delores) and Paul Pasternak (Marcia); his grandchildren, Amy Duesing (Douglas), Leanne Trapp (Jeffrey), Michelle Schunck (Dan), Ashley Baas (Chad), Andrew Pasternak (Alyse), Amanda Keefe (Patrick), Anna Fridkis (Benjamin), Christina Matesz (Aaron), Daniel, Janelle, Michael and Olivia Pasternak; and his great grandchildren, Tayla, Tanner, Ariella, Adam, Talia, Nathan, Pazia, Louis, Vera, Edwin, Lincoln, Raphael, Elek, Alton and Julius Theodore Duesing.
