He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Garrett and John Lee Garrett; his wife Venice Garrett (Collins); and his siblings, Grace Leslie, Launa Collins, Wonnie Garrett, Dallas Garrett and Gordon Garrett.
He is survived by: his uncle Jay; his son Stanley J. Garrett; his daughter-in-law Laura A. Garrett; and his grandchildren, Emily D. Garrett and Joseph F. Garrett.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (4150 W Laskey Rd, Toledo, OH 43623). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Hyacinth Catholic Church (719 Evesham Ave, Toledo, OH 43607).
