It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn Ruth Gannon of Temperance, Michigan, born in Ottawa Lake, Michigan, who passed away on February 21, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Estes D. Smith and Lassie Adeline Smith (Browning); her spouse Thomas Gannon, Jr.; and her siblings, Vondel, Cleston, Kensel, Gerald Smith and Geraldine Tittle.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Gannon (Jane), Julie Diener (Jon), Pam Hakes (Steve) and Steve Gannon; her siblings, Chan Smith (Bonnie), Danny Smith (Mary Anne) and Annalene Comsteller; and her grandchildren, Christopher Diener (Kelly), Emily Diener, Jordan Gannon (Kathryn), Justin Gannon, Evan Hakes (Karoline), Lauren Hakes and Nathan Hakes. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation with COVID-19 guidelines will be held from 3-8 pm, Friday, February 26, 2021, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
