He was predeceased by: his brother Wade Ellison (Phyllis); and his parents, Wade Ellison and Gladys Ellison. He is survived by: his sister Gladys Ellison (Southern); his wife Joyce Ellison; his children, Aimee Ellison and Edward Ellison II (Kareyann); his grandchildren, Jordan and Wyatt Ellison; and his brother Larry Ellison.

Memorial donations in honor of Ed are suggested to the Michigan Humane Society of Monroe.
