He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Renee Reilly; his children, Autumn Cole (Bradley), Aaron Goldsmith (Tara), Adam Goldsmith (Krista Gardner), Austin Goldsmith (Danielle Raasch), Andrew Goldsmith (Kristen) and Adrian Goldsmith (Laura Petee); his grandchildren, Reilly, Emma Cole, Kyle, Kira Goldsmith, Maci Goldsmith, Tyler, Drew, Rylie Gardner, Evalee Raasch and Isabella Shaw-Goldsmith; his mother Arla Goldsmith; his siblings, Jeff Goldsmith (Kelly), Tim Goldsmith (Jana), Mark Goldsmith, Kevin Goldsmith (Ariel) and Shawn Goldsmith (Gina); and his father Arnold Goldsmith.
