He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wendt and Betty Wendt (Holzapfel); and his stepson Jason Howard. He is survived by: his former wife Karen Wendt (LaFrance); his wife Melanie Wendt (Parks); his close friend Harold Keaton; his children, David T. Wendt (Lorma), Adam Wendt (Kim) and Holly Kimpon (Nick); and his sister Julie McIntyre (Larry). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
