She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd T. Madalinski and Anna V. Madalinski (Lesnieski); her husband Emery J. Hornyak, Jr.; her brother-in-law Richard L. Hornyak, Sr.; her nephew Richard L. Hornyak, Jr.; and her grandson Stephen.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Thomas J. Hornyak (Mary) of Bethesda, MD, Jean Ann Hornyak (James Hakala) of Longmont, CO and Robert E. Hornyak (Karen) of Center Line, MI.; her grandchildren, Alyssa, Mark, Nathaniel, Cecilia and Karl; and her siblings, Annette Stobierski (Daniel) of Wyoming, MI, Patricia Wesselman (James) of Trenton, MI and Ronald Madalinski (Drenda) of Ruskin, FL.
