He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arlo Emerson and Elizabeth Emerson; his grandmother Violet Mellinger; his pet Bindi; his wife Shawn Emerson (Schwyn) of Temperance; his sons, Brady (Anna) of Brooklyn and Jamie of Denver, Colorado; his sister Vicky McCourtie; his siblings-in-law, Christy and Mike Allen; his grandson William Bruce Emerson; his siblings, Janice Stone (Richard) and Devon Emerson; and his brother-in-law Tom McCourtie. He was also cherished by The youngest of four children, he and his siblings were raised by their mother.
