He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Andrew C. and Pearl Edwards, Sr. (Herin); his wife JoAnn Hedrick; his children, Andrew Edwards, III (Vicki), Fred "Dwayne" Edwards (Angel) and Hope Rix; his sisters, Brenda Branch and Susan Gulledge (George); his grandchildren, Andrew, Caleb, Kalee, Breanna, Levi, Austin, Lauren, Xandria and Alexa; and his sister Diane Hanner. He was also cherished by 15 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the church.
