She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Carnahan and Elizabeth Carnahan (Hoag); her husband Richard Smith; her brother Clare Carnahan; and her nephew David Carnahan.
She is survived by: her sons, Bruce Smith (Vickie) of Tipton and Greg Smith (Joy) of Onsted; her grandchildren, Bradley Smith of Whitmore Lake, Kelly Smith of Athens, Carrie Smith of Oswego, IL, Angela LaJiness (Nathan) of Britton, Julie, Kristy Smith of Apopka, Jacob Underwood (Kayla) of Green Bay, WI and Kyle Underwood (Nicole) of Adrian; and her nieces, Deb Early and Liz Carnahan. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Tipton Community Congregational Church or Hospice of Lenawee.
