It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sam Short Sr. of Tecumseh, Michigan, who passed away on February 18, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Short and Gwendolyn Short (Lentz); and his siblings, James Short, Hilary "Jack" Short, Hilda Amburgy, Rose Marie Graham and Janet Fosbender.
He is survived by: his children, Samuel Jr. Short (Monica), Susan Jacobs (Ray), Jason Short (Jaime), Joshua Short and Jennifer Raitt (Robert); and his grandchildren, Ashley, Sarah, Samantha, Haley, Chrystal, Liam, Lexi of Olivia, RJ, Grace and Nehemiah. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Elizabeth Catholic Church or the Tecumseh American Legion.
