With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Russell J. Blanden of Tecumseh, Michigan, who passed away on January 1, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merwin Russell and Francelia Blanden (Ford). He is survived by: his wife Debra LoAnn Leis; his children, Anthony Vondy (Laura) of Concord, Christin Dowd (William) of Brooklyn, Holly Piazza (Frankie) of Whitefish, MT and Aaron Vondy (Jessica) of Durham, NC; his siblings, Harriett Britton (Lee) of Alpena and David Blanden (Barbara) of Tecumseh; his grandchildren, Tiffany, Caitlyn, Elizabeth, Zachary, Nicholas, Kai, Ethan N., Joshua, Eleanor, Jack, Hunter, Ethan R. and Addison; and his great grandchildren, Arthur and Logan.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital or the Tecumseh United Methodist Church Endowment Fund.
