He was predeceased by: his wife Audrey Martin (Tincher); his son Scott Martin; and his sister Sharon Chrysler. He is survived by: his parents, William Martin and Clair Martin; his children, Mary Benjamin (Rolly) of Tecumseh, Bill Martin (Tracey) of Adrian and Buffy Martin of Tecumseh; and his siblings, Bill Martin (Kay) of Manchester, Bobby Martin (Brenda) of Milan and Eileen Deblak. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
