He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. and Mary Ganz Sr. (Nikolitsch); and his siblings, John A Ganz Jr. and Barbara Komarynski. He is survived by: his nephews, Paul M. Ganz, Eric R. Ganz and John J. Komar; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Patrick D. Morris, Jeff Komar, Sheralyn, Jeanette Ganz and Kathryn Battock.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Boys and Girls Club of Southeastern Michigan.
