He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Solarski and Mary Solarski (Soborowski); his sister Delores Riedberger; and his nephew Randy. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Billau; his children, Renee Vannatter (Tim) and Raymond Solarski (Traci); his sister Christine Moore; and his grandchildren, Bradley, Benjamin Vannatter, Nicholas and Emily Solarski.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Lenawee or the Lenawee Humane Society.
