He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Nighswander and Grace Nighswander (Harvey); and his nephews, Michael Nighswander and Tim Marston. He is survived by: his siblings, Nancy Mercer (Ernest) of Lapeer and Milton James Nighswander (Barbara) of Luzerne; his nieces, Tammy Anderson (Steve), Beverly Simdon (Craig) and Peggy Price; and his nephew Andrew Nighswander (Samandra).
