He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Melvin and Doris Pauline Barbre (Schmidt); his siblings, Jan Barbre, Patti Barbre and Karen; and his brother-in-law Paul Phelps.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Clare Loeher; his children, Amy Nedoss (Joe) of Illinois, Brian Barbre (Cathy) of Michigan, Deborah Morrow (Steve) of Michigan and Heather Estrella (Ernie) of California; his brothers, Tim Barbre (Donna) of Kentucky, Rodney Barbre (Sarah) of Michigan and Jerry Barbre (Darlynn) of Illinois; and his grandchildren, Makayla, Amelia, Katelynn, Morgan, Emily, Ty, Miles, Jin, Jacob and Ava.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
