He was predeceased by: his parents, Murl Dowell and Omega Dowell (Muncy); his wife Patricia Ann Bass; and his son Patrick Dowell. He is survived by: his son Paul Allen Dowell (Lori) of Tecumseh; his grandchildren, Josh of Indianapolis, IN and Melissa Dowell of Lansing; and his sister Wanda Sue Howard of Canton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
