It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred McCrate (Tecumseh, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on December 19, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Stanley Belbot and Margaret Kotwicki Belbot; her son David Saksewski (Margie) of Sturgeon Bay, WI; her daughter-in-law Christine Sakewski of Belleville; her grandchildren, Kimberly Saksewski Spencley, Julie Forgie (Walter), Sara Windjue (Josh), Jim Saksewski, Jason Saksewski (Deborah) and Kyle Kordell (Kayla); her great grandchildren, Caleb Anderson, Alexis Forgie, Morgan Ploegstra, Megan Ploegstra, Taylin Windjue, Reese Windjue and Ella Kordell; her brothers, Richard Belbot (Gail) of Chesterfield and Art Belbot (Julie) of Punta Gorda, FL.; her husbands, Joseph R. Saksewksi and Robert E. McCrate; her sons, Joseph E. Saksewski and John Saksewski; her daughter-in-law Judith Saksewski; and her sisters, Dorothy Kubiak and Jenny Welsh. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
Because the church will be beautifully decorated for Christmas, the family asks that instead of sending flowers, please instead consider a memorial donation to Hospice of Lenawee.
