He was predeceased by: his father Harry Prater; his grandparents, William, Alta Butts, Sherman and Mollie Prater; and his mother-in-law Carol Walters.
He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Ann Walters; his children, Camille Prater of Adrian, MI and Jacob Prater (Brieanne Drew) of Indianapolis, IN; and his mother Ruth Bolduc of Rawlings, MD..
