He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Garcia and Luisa Garcia (Salcido); his son Martin David Garcia; his siblings, Francisca Garza, Sabino Romo, Juan Garcia, Jose Garcia, Raymundo Garcia and Guillermo Garcia; and the mother of his children Juanita Gray Hernandez.
He is survived by: his wife Celia Herrera; his daughters, Mary Gorzkiewcz-Meagher (Ken) of Dundee, Marta Box (Ron) of Belleville and Marcia Vandercook of Temperance; his stepdaughter Cecilia Million (Joel) of Adrian; and his siblings, Maria Hernandez of Bryan, Texas and Roberto Garcia of Bryan, Texas. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
