He is survived by: his parent Hazel Koons (Edwards); his spouse Olive "Ollie" Grace; his daughters, Pamela Melvin (Hugh) of Canton, Shelley Freiberger (Kent) of Onsted and Shirley Adams (Michael) of Napoleon; his sister-in-law Frances Koons of Adrian; and his grandchildren, Kenny Melvin (Lauren) of Livonia, Aaron Adams (Alisha) of Saline, Andrew Adams of Caro, Alex Adams of Ada, OH, Gregory Freiberger of Canton and Brian Freiberger of Onsted. He is also survived by two sisters and three brothers.
