He was predeceased by: his parents, Carol Louise Opel-Burns and Juan Banda Villarreal; and his sister Victoria McKelvey. He is survived by: his siblings, Mateo Villarreal, Valentine Villarreal, Jason Opel, Conrad Opel, Melissa Opel, Jennifer Opel, Michelle Opel and Bonita Opel; his children, Gabriel Villarreal and Summer Villarreal; and his sisters, Jessica Valdez and Michelle Ybarra. He is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews; four great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Maple City Baptist Church (305 W Beecher St, Adrian, MI 49221). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
