John Swanston Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Swanston (Tecumseh, Michigan), who passed away on October 13, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Swanston and Eunice Swanston (Harwood); his great grandchild Aiden John Ulrich; his nephew Kenny Plank, Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Pete Plank, Paul Schafer and Sylvia Plank.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jacki Fagan (Mike), Heather Harriott (Dan) and Melinda Kuenzel (Ken); his grandchildren, Jaymi Ulrich, Alicia Tappan (Brian), Megan Edelman (Matt), Jenna Swanston (Bryan), Aaron Harriott (Naomi), Will Brown, Jerald Billadeau, Thomas Swanston Brown and Ryan Brown; his sisters, Karen Miller (Jerry) and Sally Schafer; and his pet Midnight. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jack Ries Scholarship Fund or Grace United Methodist Church.
