He is survived by: his parents, Susan Caswell Brooks and Gordon D. Brooks Jr.; his siblings, Alex Brooks, Logan Brooks (Bryan Carter), Taylor Brooks and Darcy Brooks; his grandparents, Donna Caswell, Gordon Brooks of Milford and Patricia Brooks of Milford; and his nieces and nephews, Dante, Raevyn, Jenna, Colin, Gemma, Lincoln and Tatum.

In lieu of flowers, two funds have been set up in Hunter's name.
