He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur and Evelyn Anschuetz Sr. (Rempert); his siblings, Arthur Jr, Charles and Carol; his half-sisters, Eileen Rempert and Ardith Zimmerman; and his grandson Benjamin Gerald Prettyman.
He is survived by: his wife Diann Heierman; his children, Cindy Hans (Scott) of Grand Blanc, MI, Gerald "Jerry" Anschuetz II (Ruby) of Draper and Vicky Prettyman (Lee) of Onsted, MI.; his grandchildren, Aaron (Margaret), Emily (Zac), Asa, Brittany (John), Sara (Nathan), Raymond and Marysa; his great grandchildren, Evelynn and Ezra; his brother Larry "Doc" Anschuetz (Dorothy) of Tecumseh, MI; his sister-in-law Susan Anschuetz of Tawas; and his aunt Rhea Ulman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
