He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Frederick and Alma Amanda Gehrke (Jedele). He is survived by: his wife Sharell Ann Watrous; his children, James Gehrke (Coleen Kelly) of Washington, DC, Karl Gehrke of Dexter, Mark Gehrke (Carolyn) of Ypsilanti, Lisa Brown (Raymond) of Ft. Worth, TX and Cindy Coburn (Craig) of Middleville, MI; his sister Carole Ann McConnell (John) of Tecumseh; his grandchildren, Sarah Bridle (Mark), Matthew Brown, Zachary Brown, Nathan Coburn, Cayla Coburn, Anna Gehrke and Claire Gehrke; and his former wife Sue Gaines Gehrke. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Dawn Farm, the Hemophilia Foundation of Michigan - Bold Eagle Camp and the First Presbyterian Church of Tecumseh.
