With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ural F. Mayes of Taylor, Michigan, born in Huntland, Tennessee, who passed away on August 19, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon Ann Mayes; and his parents, George Mayes and Ruby Mayes. He is survived by: his children, Debbie Schroeder (Neil) and Steve Mayes (Dena); his grandchildren, Joe Schroeder (Vanessa), Nick Schroeder (Chelsey), Griffen Mayes (Erin) and Jensen Mayes; and his great grandchildren, Kadyn, Everly, Kennedy, Hannah and Elizabeth.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Michigan Humane Society. Keep Ural "Willie"'s legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
