He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Cooney and Marian Cooney; and his siblings, Delores and Ray. He is survived by: his wife Donna Cooney; his stepdaughters, Tammy Tollon (Jamie) and Katherine Ralston (Ralph); his grandchildren, Christopher, Brianne Cooney, James Christian (Aaron Tollon) and Avery (Riley Ralston); and his great grandchild Ryker Cooney.
Memorial donations may be given to one of the following charities in honor of Thomas: Michigan Humane Society, The American Cancer Society.
